Built by Baldwin & Sons, the Oaks at Portola Hills offer luxury and curb appeal to the Southern California resident.

The Oaks at Portola Hills is a vibrant new home community located in Trabuco Canyon, neighboring Lake Forest, California. Artfully crafted homes – some complete and some on the way – offer families numerous luxury home options, all boasting superb curb appeal. The secure, gated community sits along a hillside with homes presented on traditional tree-lined streets – some offering premium views of the surrounding natural canyon.

One of the differentiating characteristics of The Oaks at Portola Hills is its exceptionally wide selection of new home models. Families can select from eight elegantly designed floor plans, with seven two-story models available, and one model in single story, all with customizable add-ons, an essential trait for buyers. Customizations, including a California Room, additional bedrooms, office spaces, walk-in pantries, wine storage rooms, fireplaces, and more, are all available during the construction process. However, even without any customizations, buyers will still be getting beautifully designed luxury homes with tricked out amenities.

Exteriors evoke old-world appeal with rich brick, stone, and wood elements. Walk-up porches and tall archways welcome residents upon entry. Grand ceiling heights join with enviable indoor/outdoor connections that epitomize modern California living. Abundant natural light fills interiors while luxe, sophisticated flooring, appliances, countertops, and finishes adorn smartly designed inviting rooms and spaces. Floor plans range from 2,692 to 5,626 square feet and offer three and six bedrooms; two-and-a-half to five-and-a-half bathrooms; and two- or three-car garages, selling for an average of $1.7 million.

“Each home in our new community is well-planned, meticulously thought-out, and provides families of all sizes numerous luxury home options all boasting amazing curb appeal,” says Al Baldwin, founder and CEO of Baldwin & Sons, builder of the community and recent recipient of the Orange County Business Journal’s 2017 Family-Owned Business Award. “With vivid architectural details effortlessly balancing the exterior and interior, each home creates a true luxury experience.”

The Oaks at Portola Hills community is designed with families in mind. Situated along the rim of a vast, open wilderness preserve, the community encourages a healthy, active California lifestyle, connecting residents to numerous regional hiking, biking, and equestrian trails. Additionally, the community features numerous outdoor recreational spaces and offerings, encouraging families to get out, get fit, and enjoy the sunshine.

Luxe master baths are offered in every floor plan, and are a big draw for buyers.

In addition to meeting all Title 24 and local sustainable requirements, The Oaks at Portola Hills embraces conservation and promises a healthy lifestyle. The community sits adjacent to the Limestone Whiting Ranch Wildness Park, encompassing approximately 2,500 acres of protected riparian and oak woodland canyons, rolling grassland hills, and steep slopes of coastal sage scrub and chaparral.

“The views from many lots will be unlike any views you’ve ever seen,” says Baldwin. “Bring the outside into your home, watch spectacular sunsets and sunrises, and soak in the surrounding nature and nearby wide open spaces.”

Residents can enjoy nearby private pedestrian parks, and strolling or biking along extensive award-winning trail systems, paseos, and promenade streets. A 5,300-squarefoot community center includes a shared multi-functional space with a kitchen, interior and exterior showers, restrooms, office space, and a storage room. Families are encouraged to enjoy a large swimming pool with two lap lanes; a children’s wading pool and spa; a sand volleyball court; a tot lot complete with play equipment; a multi-purpose sports field; a relaxing picnic area; multiple shade structures; a covered outdoor barbecue area with kitchen; an outdoor fireplace; and pedestrian walking paths outfitted with exercise stations and equipment.

The community enjoys close proximity to Lake Forest Sports Park, a new 86-acre sports park and recreation center featuring soccer and baseball fields, basketball facilities, and tennis and volleyball courts, as well as picnic areas and hiking trails. Additionally, many local retail amenities and services sit within nearby Foothill Ranch.

Architects of The Oaks took advantage of the SoCal weather, incorporating outdoor amenities such as this California Room.

Residents also have access to Aliso Creek open space with riding and hiking trails to the East, 100 acres of open space preserve along the southern boundary, and Santiago Canyon and the foothills of the Santa Ana Mountains to the north.

Phase One of the Oaks at Portola Hills hit the market in November of 2015, and full build out of this luxurious, amenity rich community is expected within the next five years. For more information on this community, please visit http://www.portolahills-
